travel (some of my favorite destinations - England and Greece!) When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me baking something sweet in our kitchen, spending time with my handsome hubby and sweet goldendoodle pup, or grabbing a cup of milky coffee or tea at a local shop.
I'm Steph - an artist, educator, and wedding photographer for the wholeheartedly in love. I believe in marriages even more beautiful than wedding days, and I'm inspired by intimate celebrations filled with meaningful details and an abundance of blooms and greenery. I'm a girl who loves to
Gray Door Photography was named after a small detail with great meaning. I've made my livelihood documenting the love stories of other couples, but along the way I've also gotten to share little pieces of my own. During our first few years as newlyweds, my hubby's job has kept us moving to a new state each year. With each move there was a new home, and with each new home there was, coincidentally, a gray front door. What may seem like such a small detail in our love story has become a symbol of some of the happiest years of my life. And, now that we've made Dallas our more permanent home our gray front door holds such significant meaning. Gray Door Photography celebrates the adventure, joy, and unbreakable bond created on your wedding day, and more importantly, we celebrate as it all continues into your marriage.
Your wedding day is much more than the flowers, gowns, and champagne. It's made up of moments that lead into a marriage much more beautiful that any of those things could ever be. One of my greatest joys is serving couples who share that belief. I book only a limited number of weddings each year so I can provide a personalized experience and build a genuine relationship with each of my sweet couples. To me, connecting with my clients is an essential part of creating romantic, organic, timeless images that will be treasured for years as family heirlooms.
